ITI Admission 2026-27 in Akola: A Step-by-Step Guide
If you have just finished 10th (or 8th) and want a practical, job-oriented course, an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) is one of the best paths. This guide explains, in simple steps, how ITI admission works in Akola for the 2026-27 session.
Step 1 — Register on the DVET portal
Maharashtra ITI admissions are done online through the government portal admission.dvet.gov.in. Create an account, fill the admission form, and pay the small application fee. This is compulsory for every student.
Step 2 — Get your merit number
After the merit list is prepared, log in to see your merit numbers (State, Category and Home District). You will also get them by SMS.
Step 3 — Fill your option form and choose your institute
In the option form you choose which institutes and courses you want. To choose Dekson ITI, Akola, enter our Institute Code:
Institute Code: PR27001081
Step 4 — Get your allotment letter
If a seat is allotted to you, you receive an SMS. Log in, download the Allotment Letter, and print it.
Step 5 — Report to the institute and confirm
Visit the institute with your original documents within the given dates. The institute checks your documents, collects the fee, and confirms your admission.
Documents you need
Every student must bring: 10th (SSC) marksheet, School Leaving Certificate (LC/TC), Aadhaar card, Domicile/Nationality certificate, Income certificate, bank passbook copy, and 2 passport-size photos — plus your category certificate (caste / EWS / minority) if applicable. Keep two photocopies of each.
